"Whatever happens:
With W&H you are always prepared!"

THAT WAS IDS 2013!

"Whatever happens: With W&H you are always prepared!" - a large number of visitors followed this invitation and found out about the new W&H product innovations on the W&H stand. The trade fair visitors were particularly impressed with the new Synea generation with the sterilizable Penta LED+ as a global first. The Assistina 3x3 for instrument preparation was also presented for the first time, as well as Piezomed for bone surgery.

Not only as a result of new products in almost all application areas was the W&H exhibition stand also a centre of attraction for many visitors this time around. Presentations and live demonstrations on the topics of hygiene standards, intraosseous anaesthesia or Piezomed astonished our guests, as did our life-size image models. We would like to thank our guests for the positive feedback, the interesting conversations and we wish every success with the new W&H products.

World first: Penta LED+

Synea Vision is the new exclusive instrument series full of innovations: With the new 5x LED ring (Penta LED+) from W&H in the Synea Vision turbines, for the first time it is now possible to achieve 100% shadow-free illumination, as the preparation site is not only illuminated from the mesial, but at the same time from buccal, distal and lingual/palatinal sides. Synea Vision – clearly a step ahead of the future.

Assistina 3x3 – the crowd puller.

The new Assistina 3x3 met with great approval. The fully automatic cleaning and maintenance unit for dental handpieces sets new standards in hygiene and care and is an optimal unit for internal and external cleaning and for lubrication of turbines, straight and contra-angle handpieces. With the subsequent rapid cycle sterilization in the Lisa autoclave, the instruments are available again after just 20 minutes in total: cleaned, cared for and sterilized.

"Unbelievable - the new Piezomed cuts through bone like butter"

Dr. Ulrich Fürst, dentist specializing in oral surgery, is enthusiastic about Piezomed. It is extremely powerful and yet gentle on soft tissue. With the automatic instrument detection, W&H has also achieved another world first: as soon as an instrument is inserted, Piezomed automatically detects the instrument and assigns the correct power class to it.

New access angle for surgical applications.

The new WS-91 and WS-91 LG high-speed surgical contra-angle handpieces feature a 45° angle head. They allow completely new, considerably better access to hard-to-reach operating areas such as in cases of wisdom tooth extraction or apical resection. The new surgical straight and contra-angle handpieces from W&H are also impressive in terms of durability, ergonomics and robustness.

Sterilization in record time

Lisa 500 sterilizers offer made-to-measure automatic type B cycles and now also the option of rapid sterilization of unpacked instruments. Unpacked solid instruments and also turbines and straight and contra-angle handpieces can be removed fully dried from the Lisa autoclave after just 14 minutes with the rapid programme. This means huge time savings for every dental practice.
