This device from W&H puts all the advantages of innovative ultrasound technology at the surgeon’s fingertips: high-frequency microvibrations allow cutting with incredible precision. In addition, with the so-called cavitation effect you can also ensure an almost blood-free surgical site. In other words: minimally invasive, maximally effective!
Thanks to innovative ultrasound technology, Piezomed transforms the surgeon's work. With high precision, only the bone substance is removed and the surrounding soft tissue is left undamaged. This is not only a noticeable relief for the patient, but also ensures the best conditions for more rapid healing.
Automatic instrument detection
With the automatic instrument detection, W&H has also achieved another world first: as soon as an instrument is inserted, Piezomed automatically detects the instrument and assigns it to the correct power class. This not only simplifies operation, but also reduces the risk of overloading the instruments and increases their service life.
Innovative instrument range
With a range of 24 innovative instruments, you can find the right instrument for every application. Optimal cooling of the instruments and the hard tissue to be treated is guaranteed by the location of the spray which is released close to the instrument's area of activity. A new special toothing pattern guarantees precise cutting with low bone loss during bone block harvesting and additionally saves time. The range also includes a new bone saw which boasts extremely high cutting performance. This facilitates efficient, time-saving work.
Individual operating modes
Piezomed adapts to suit your personal way of working: the device saves the last selected settings and supports the surgeon with three individual operating modes: “Power”, “Basic” and “Smooth”. The boost function can be used to increase the set basic power by 20% for a short period of time without increasing the risk of overloading the instruments.
Perfect cleaning
The handpiece with cable can be thermo washer disinfected and sterilized. The multifunctional foot control facilitates sterile working and gives your hands the freedom to focus on the treatment.
