New instrument set for ultrasonic endodontics
W&H, the Austrian dental company, has expanded its instrument set for orthograde endodontics. With three new tips the set contains a compact assortment for use with W&H piezo scalers such as Tigon, Tigon+ or Pyon 2. With the new set W&H offers a complete and practical state-of-the-art ultrasonic system for endodontics.
Piezo systems for orthograde indications
With the six orthograde endodontic instruments W&H offers dentists a practical selection for endodontic treatments.
The new tips are for the preparation of the pulp chamber floor (4E), loosening of root pins (5E) and removal of root filler material (6E). Tip 1E for ultrasound-activated rinsing can now be bent before use, to fit the canal path. This allows it to penetrate further apically than rigid instruments.
The output of the W&H piezo scalers is infinitely adjustable and can be very finely adjusted with three treatment modes (Tigon+). Both Tigon models include the 5x ring LED integrated into the handpiece for optimized illumination of the surgical site.
