Sterilization process considerably optimised

The sterilization process is optimized and integrates perfectly into the practice workflow.

Patient safety is our no. 1 priority, and we do everything in our power to preserve the high standard of the hygiene chain. Our practice specialises in periodontics and implantology and has a staff of 12: four dentists, five dental nurses, a dental practice assistant and two receptionists. Sterilization is the very linchpin of the hygiene protocol. We already had four W&H sterilizers, which have now been joined by the new Lisa. This new model undeniably represents a step forward in terms of sterilization workflows. It utilizes digital technology to offer simple and intuitive navigation via the touch screen, resulting in an overall more fluid workflow. The faster cycle (type B) also allows the whole staff to work quickly and efficiently.

Simplicity and efficiency

The sterilization process is optimized and integrates perfectly into the practice workflow. This also contributes to freeing up more time for the dental nurses, who can remain chairside at all times during treatment. Yet another major advance is the comprehensive documentation of the sterilization cycles. The system of complete traceability is perfectly tailored to our needs and records all the sterilization parameters. This allows us to keep track of exactly which cycles have been performed. In addition, we can also record the corresponding valuable information in the patients’ files. Not only that – the design has also been revised: More streamlined than earlier models, the new Lisa fits seamlessly into our sterilization room. The nurses and assistant also value the simplicity and efficiency of this “next generation” sterilizer.
