Exclusive insights into W&H’s product and VR world

From 23rd to 28th October 2017, W&H partner Dental Cremer invited dentists from all across Brazil to the “Dental Cremer Experience” conference at the Riocentro Exhibition & Convention Center. Spanning an area of 20,000 m², the expert platform offered besides comprehensive information on current product innovations selected workshops providing insights into practical applications. About 10,000 visitors seized the opportunity to catch up with the latest updates. In exclusive workshops, W&H increased the dentists’ understanding of efficient working electric motors and high-speed contra-angle handpieces.

Dr. Marc Lindner presented the advantages of the electric motor and high-speed contra-angle handpiece for perfect preparation results. Dr. Raphael Monte Alto, an expert in aesthetic prosthetics and a renowned lecturer throughout Latin America visited Oliver Goetzendorff at the W&H booth in Rio de Janeiro and revealed his brand-new book spanning almost 600 pages on “Reabilitação Estética Anterior” (Anterior Aesthetic Rehabilitation), a guideline for daily routine.

Three workshops were held each day. Trainer and host was Dr. Marc Lindner, an expert in prosthetics and implantology. He was assisted by two students, Juliana Neves and Natasha Trieger. Both participants of the two-year specialization course in periodontology at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) who demonstrated the W&H Pyon 2 Piezo Scalers. Workshop participants did not only experience the motor/contra-angle handpiece combination’s removal capacity, but were also impressed by the improved control with regard to the preparation design, especially in terms of effective removal of high-strength materials.

During the same period the APDESP congress, an expert platform for dental technicians, was held in São Paulo. In selected product presentations, W&H partner Wilcos introduced interested parties about the advantages of the Perfecta laboratory motors. Thanks to the air bridge “Ponte Aérea Rio-São Paulo”, W&H Area Manager Oliver Goetzendorff was even able to attend both events.

3D experience: virtual trip to W&H headquarters in Bürmoos

In addition to presenting product innovations, it was particularly important for him to give visitors to both events insights into the world of W&H. A virtual reality experience allowed them to visit the company’s headquarters in Bürmoos, Austria, and get an impression of state of the art corporate structure for themselves, so to speak.
