As in previous years, W&H is once again making a donation to charity this Christmas. This year our support is going to the Austrian Childhood Cancer Organisation and DEBRA Austria.

The Austrian Childhood Cancer Organisation sees it as their mission to provide children and young people suffering from cancer, and their families, with comprehensive support with medical, care-related, social, psychological and legal issues.

DEBRA Austria
‘Butterfly children’ is a term used to refer to sufferers of epidermolysis bullosa (EB). EB is a genetic skin condition, which causes the skin to blister or rip when placed under relatively low stress. The children who suffer from this disease have a difficult and painful life.
As the risk of injury is so high for children with this condition, they are known as ‘butterfly children’, since their skin is said to be as fragile as a butterfly’s wings.
