Mexikanska tandläkare upptäcker W&H:s värld

In May and June 2017, two groups of postgraduate dentists from Mexico were offered the opportunity to travel to Salzburg in Austria and visit the headquarters of W&H Dentalwerk Bürmoos GmbH. Their stay was focused on the maintenance of personal relationships and comprehensive familiarization with W&H’s innovative product range. The two groups consisted of a total of 29 postgraduate students from La Salle University (Mexico City) and the Autonomous University of Yucatan (Mérida) higher education institutions.

Hands-on trainings with product managers

All participants have used the Table Top electric motor in combination with a speed increasing contra-angle handpiece, which they had purchased in advance from W&H, as part of training for their field of specialization. “We invited these dentists just starting out in their career to visit us in Bürmoos as they have already purchased a high-quality W&H product. We wanted to give them the opportunity to get to know both our company and its extensive range of products better and also to reinforce their trust in the W&H brand. I suppose you could say it was a win-win situation for all involved,” explained Oliver Goetzendorff, Area Manager for Latin America at W&H.

Latest W&H technologies

The programme for the visitors included hands-on training sessions with W&H product managers, with a focus on the Implantmed implantology motor, Piezomed surgical device, Pyon LED piezo scaler and other products. In the field of instrument reprocessing, one presentation focused in particular on the Lina and MS sterilizers. Both groups’ visits were rounded off with a tour of the facilities offering an insight into the company’s innovative business structure and state-of-the-art production methods. Another highlight was a visit to the W&H museum, where the guests discovered a range of interesting information about W&H’s range of products and the 125 years of company history.

The insights into the latest W&H technologies and the chance to meet the W&H employees in person in Bürmoos were particularly well received by the visitors. “We were especially delighted by the high interest in the company’s state-of-the-art process workflows. The visits to Bürmoos also gave us a chance to impress our customers with the high quality standard at W&H in person. This allows us to reinforce their confidence in our products and continue expanding our international partnerships,” added Oliver Goetzendorff.
