Latest advancements in dental technology, techniques and materials were main topics of the 22nd edition of the UAE International Dental Conference & Arab Dental Exhibition – AEEDC Dubai 2018. On the three days event, held from 6th to 8th February at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre (DICEC) W&H put a focus on the field of oral surgery and implantology. With the latest Implantmed generation the company has come up with an innovative solution for optimal treatment planning and continuous documentation of treatment.

Equipped with an integrated W&H Osstell ISQ module W&H offers the sole surgery device with implant stability measurement. At the exhibition stand the team of W&H partner IMECO supported by Area Manager Amine Soufi gave visitors insights into the innovative Implantmed functionalities. Further product highlights were the new Lisa sterilizer with fast cycle for dental handpieces and integrated traceability as well as the Synea Vision and Synea Fusion range, which offer innovative functionalities for gentle and minimally invasive preparations.

Advanced technologies for gentle treatment

Around 50,000 visitors attended the AEEDC Dubai to exchange latest scientific findings and technological trends in the field of dentistry. As the largest dental event in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia region the AEEDC gathered 2,500 manufacturers and dealers from more than 130 countries, who presented their latest product innovations and clinical solutions. At the W&H stand visitors were particularly interested in live demonstrations of the new Implantmed, it’s intuitive ease of operation and the range of new straight and contra-angle surgical handpieces with LED+.

Also the connectivity features of the Lisa sterilizer for an optimized practice workflow were an important issue presented by W&H hygiene advisor Christian Stempf. In addition to the exhibition team and Area Manager Amine Soufi, interested dentists received first-hand information from Bastian Diebald, W&H Vice President Sales and Marketing, and Simon Niedermüller, W&H Director Sales. In expert debate not only product details were discussed, but also the professional network was fostered.
