Nowadays, professional hygiene concepts are a considerable component of modern dental practices. At international congress and symposia, Christian Stempf, hygiene officer at W&H, informs audiences about everyday safety risks in practices and the necessary measures for protecting the patient and dentist.
International Congress in Implantology & Esthetic Dentistry
With around 140 dentists, the "International Congress in Implantology & Esthetic Dentistry" in Nicosia, Cyprus, boasted an outstanding number of visitors.
From 28th to 29th September, the participants seized the opportunity to inform themselves about the latest trends in the field of dentistry.
In addition to numerous well-known speakers, Christian Stempf gave a presentation on innovations in the field of "Infection prevention and sterilization". In his presentation the W&H expert was able to address the specialist audience’s current requirements and promote awareness of hygienic process workflows.
Interdent Seminar
From 5th to 6th October, W&H partner Interdent, in cooperation with the Slovenian Dental Association, invited dentists, dental assistants and dental technicians to the "Interdent Seminar" in Maribor, Slovenia. The event is held every two years and in addition to academic presentations also includes practical workshops.
Christian Stempf not only wowed the approximately 400 participants with a presentation on the topic of "Hygiene", but was also in a position to provide the specialist audience with valuable guidelines for the cleaning and care of dental instruments in the subsequent workshops. The aim was to demonstrate efficient possibilities for rapid and reliable preparation of instruments to the participants.
