  ioDent^® is W&H's cloud platform that provides digital solutions for dental practices and service partners.

• Which devices are compatible with ioDent^®?

  All W&H sterilizers from 2017 onwards, our Thed and Thed+ thermal washer disinfectors, all devices from the Seethrough portfolio, and the new Implantmed Plus II are compatible with ioDent^®. Furthermore, any device or handpiece from any manufacturer can be registered with ioDent^®.

• How does the connection between my devices and the ioDent^® cloud work?

  The devices are simply connected to your local network via a LAN cable or Wi-Fi. Once the internet connection is established, simply scan the QR code from the device display with your smartphone and follow the steps.

• What advantages does ioDent^® offer me?

  ioDent^® offers many useful additional functions for W&H devices that simplify everyday practice and automate routine tasks such as documentation.

• How do I get an ioDent^® account?

  Simply register for free at iodent.com, connect your device, and you're ready to go. Even with the free basic package, you’ll receive software updates, information on replacing consumables, reminders for service and maintenance activities, and much more.

• What are the advantages of connecting my sterilizer to ioDent^®?

  In addition to basic functions such as software updates and customisable reminders for service and maintenance activities, you also receive the full scope of the ‘Reprocessing’ package. This includes fully automatic batch documentation as well as the digital sterilization logbook eLog for routine tests such as Helix and B&D.

• What are the advantages of the ioDent^® eLog function?

  With eLog, the results of routine tests, such as Helix or B&D tests, can be easily documented and archived digitally – eliminating the need to store paper strips.

• What are the advantages of connecting my surgical device to ioDent^®?

  With ioDent^®, you can preset your Implantmed Plus II to reduce manual steps before treatment. In addition, all treatment parameters are automatically documented online, and you can create personalised reports for referring doctors or patients at the touch of one button.

• What can I do with my X-ray images in ioDent^®?

  ioDent^® offers a simple and GDPR-compliant way to share X-ray images with other doctors. The integrated online viewer allows users to view X-ray images without any special hardware requirements – from any laptop, smartphone, or tablet.

• What advantages does real-time monitoring with ioDent^® offer me?

  Your service technician can always monitor the status of your device and take immediate action in the event of malfunctions. This reduces device downtime and, as a result, practice downtime.

• How does ioDent^® help maintain my devices?

  ioDent^® proactively informs you when consumables need to be replaced or service and maintenance appointments need to be scheduled. In addition, your service technician can view the machine data of your connected device and initiate necessary steps before a device breaks down.

• What does the ioDent^® Intelligent Assist function offer?

  Intelligent Assist proactively informs your service partner about device errors. Via an online ticket, they can proactively take actions to keep your device operational or get it back up and running as quickly as possible.

  ioDent^® can be used on any device – whether a computer, laptop, smartphone, or tablet.
