Synea Vision Short Edition

The new W&H Synea Vision Short Edition showcases a high-quality range of contra-angle handpieces that are significantly lighter and shorter and offer a wide variety of different speeds. This means that W&H can now offer a perfect alternative to dentists who prefer to use smaller instruments but don’t want to miss out on the many Synea Vision-related advantages of the classic contra-angle handpieces by W&H.

Along with exceptional precision and durability, this includes the extended range of high speeds with various head sizes (e.g. WK-93 LT S for patients with restricted mouth opening) and a new unique scratch-resistant surface developed by W&H. Signs of wear will be a thing of the past with this special coating. The contra-angle handpieces will continue to shine with an unblemished appearance even after frequent use.

The contra-angle handpieces of the Synea Vision Short Edition are operated on micromotors with an ISO coupling length of 23 mm or less. W&H offers a powerful LED micromotor in this range: the EM-12L.

This motor can be used for both restoration and prosthetics and is equally suitable for endodontics and prophylaxis. No taller than a matchbox, when combined with a Short Edition contra-angle handpiece it is therefore possible to achieve a 25% reduction in weight. Thanks to this unique combination of contra-angle handpiece and motor, dentists benefit not only from an optimal ergonomic hand position but can also carry out demanding work for long periods without fatigue.
