Dental service where it is needed most.

W&H supports the Vanuatu Dental Care Service and donated handpieces and airmotors for the newly opened dental clinic in Port Vila. The official opening was held on 4th July, over the first two days 26 patients were treated.

The clinic will serve as a centre for training Ni-Van Health care workers in oral health education and ART, a base for operating the schools and peri-natal clinics oral health prevention outreach program and a clinic for volunteer dentists visiting monthly from Australia to treat referred patients from the program.

Vanuatu Dental Care Service directly supports local Ni-vans in learning and spreading a positive oral health message, as well as delivering appropriate forms of dental treatment. The service aims to reach all corners of the country, comprising as it does, over 80 islands spread more than 800km north to south.
