W&H welcomes Thai economic delegation

The Asian economic region holds valuable sales potential for W&H. In light of its consistent economic growth, Thailand has been a key target market for the dental company since the early 1980s. As part of a delegation trip, a group of Thai economic delegates visited the W&H headquarters in Bürmoos on 20 July 2018. Amongst others, the Thai honorary Consul Maximilian Coreth, his wife Dr Vera Coreth in her capacity as honorary vice consul and the Thai Ambassador Songsak Saicheua where members of the group. In joint discussions with W&H experts, important issues about the future export situation were taken up.

With an export quota of 95%, W&H makes a significant contribution to the Austrian economy. In his welcome speech, W&H President Peter Malata stressed the importance of the Asian economic region for the family-run company. With an extensive network of subsidiaries, area managers and partner companies, W&H ensures intense marketing activity in the Asian region. Following a detailed corporate presentation by Area Manager Simon Niedermüller, the visitors were given insight into the product portfolio in a subsequent factory tour. The programme found its conclusion in a visit to the medical technology company’s production facility.
