Daniel Rulli from W&H Nordic receives Swedish Hygiene Prize

Due to outstanding efforts in raising the standards of hygiene in the Nordic countries and an extraordinary contribution in increasing the patients’ safety within dentistry, Daniel Rulli, Product & Service Manager from W&H Nordic, was awarded with the Swedish Hygiene Prize 2016. Thanks to his comprehensive expertise in dentistry he supported the creation of important networks between the public and the private dental care sector.


Highest quality standards in the field of dental hygiene

With his specialist lectures and his enthusiasm over the years he shared his knowledge of hygienic requirements with dental practices and dental clinics to meet the standards and norms in the dental business. During a ceremony with an accompanying gala dinner at the Aros Congress Center in Västerås in Sweden the hygiene award from the Swedish Association for Infection Control (SFVH) was handed over by the Director General of the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare. The certificate was signed by renowned experts and by the Public Health Agency of Sweden which was a great honor for Daniel Rulli.


Applying good hygiene practice

The purpose of the Swedish Hygiene Prize is to increase awareness of the importance of applying good hygiene practices. It is awarded annually by the Swedish Association for Infection Control and focuses on organizations, companies, workplaces or individuals that have significantly contributed to high standards of hygiene in the fields of health care. The SFVH is a forum for people with a professional interest in preventing healthcare-associated infections and the spread of infection within health care, dental- and veterinary medicine. Additionally the topics infectious disease epidemiology, disinfection and sterilization in the healthcare sector are of primary importance. Currently the association counts 550 members.

The award means a significant recognition by experts in the sector of hygiene and is an important signal to the Nordic market. Thanks to the extraordinary efforts of Daniel Rulli and the Team of W&H Nordic, customers can not only rely on state-of-the-art knowledge and comprehensive support, but also to highest quality standards in the field of dental hygiene.
