Heavy fight in an international setting

For four days over 1,400 participants from more than 70 countries fought for a title in 56 competitions at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center -built specifically for WorldSkills. In the CNC Turning category, Alexander Absmann faced 27 competitors. The W&H machining technician and his competitors fought hard. With only a few deciding points, the field was tight. It was not only precision and speed that counted, mental strength was also required: the CNC turners were under extreme time pressure and had to accomplish spontaneous task changes during the competition.
