Your Compass for Tomorrow's Dental Surgery

W&H at EAO Congress 2026

From September 24 to 26, 2026, Lisbon will welcome around 3,500 experts from around the world to the European Association for Osseointegration (EAO) Congress. As one of the leading events in implant dentistry, the EAO provides the ideal platform for discussing the future of digital workflows and predictable treatment outcomes. Under the theme "Your Compass for Tomorrow's Dental Surgery", W&H will showcase a seamless workflow that connects imaging, treatment planning, surgery, implant stability assessment and documentation, enabling clinicians to navigate every step of implant treatment with confidence.

One Workflow. One Ecosystem.

Under the theme “Your Compass for Tomorrow’s Dental Surgery”, W&H will demonstrate how imaging, treatment planning, surgery, stability assessment and documentation can be seamlessly connected. Bringing together solutions such as Seethrough Imaging, SICAT Implant Planning, Osstell and ioDent®, W&H supports clinicians in navigating the entire implant treatment procedure with confidence.

Implantology is no longer about individual treatment steps. It is about connecting imaging, treatment planning, surgery, stability assessment, and documentation into one coherent workflow. Our goal is to provide clinicians with reliable guidance throughout the entire treatment process and help them achieve the best possible outcomes for their patients. That's what our 'Compass' stands for.

New Advances in Implant Stability Measurement

W&H will also showcase the latest developments in implant stability measurement, including the new reusable SmartPegs for the Osstell system. Designed for everyday clinical use, the reusable SmartPegs contribute to a more sustainable approach while allowing clinicians to objectively assess osseointegration and make confident decisions regarding implant loading.

Implant stability measurement is not about collecting more data. It is about giving clinicians greater confidence in their treatment decisions.

Power for Demanding Restorative Procedures

Beyond digital workflows and implant stability assessment, W&H also addresses the demands of restorative treatment with powerful and reliable handpieces. The Synea Power Edition was developed for one of the most demanding tasks in restorative dentistry: the efficient removal of high-strength materials such as zirconia. It combines power, durability, and reliability, making it particularly suitable when performing restorative procedures or complex revisions of cases.

Experience Innovation Firsthand

At booth B17, hall 2, visitors can explore W&H solutions, discuss practical clinical applications with experts, and gain valuable insights for everyday practice. As part of the EAO Treasure Hunt, attendees can also test selected products and win a W&H contra-angle handpiece.
