2) What is your personal data used for?
We only collect, process and use your personal data with your consent, in order to fulfil a contract or pre-contractual measures, for the purposes of our legitimate interests, or if a legal obligation or permission exists.
If your consent is required to process and/or use your data, then we only do so after receiving your express authorization. By giving your consent, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old or that you have the permission of your legal guardian. You can revoke your consent at any time.
Your data is only stored in a personalized form as long as it is required for the purpose for which it is being processed or until the relevant guarantee, warranty, limitation and legal retention periods have expired.

2.1) Use for contract performance (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR)
The personal data you have provided for the purpose of a contract performance (e.g. sales or service contract), in particular your name, address, telephone number and bank details – which are required only to fulfil the existing contractual relationship – are collected and processed on the basis of statutory entitlements in fulfilment of the contract. Should the data required to conclude the contract not be provided, the contract cannot be concluded.
2.2) Use for marketing purposes
Your data will only be used for marketing purposes, specifically with regard to submitting information for advertising via fax, post, email, or any other form of submission, if you have first provided your express consent. You can revoke this consent at any time.
2.2.1) Subscribing to the newsletter (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR)
The personal data you provided when subscribing to the W&H Group (W&H Dentalwerk Bürmoos/Austria, subsidiaries) and the responsible sales partners newsletter is only used to send you the newsletter via email in a personalized manner, unless you provide your express consent for this data to be used otherwise. You must have explicitly consented to the mailing through the ‘double opt-in’ process.
2.2.2) Use of contact and price requests (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR)
The personal data you provided specifically pertaining to contact or price requests is only used to process these requests, unless you provide your express consent for this data to be used otherwise. We only pass your data on to third parties – for example, W&H Group subsidiaries (W&H Dentalwerk Bürmoos/Austria, subsidiaries) and the responsible sales partners – if it is required to carry out these tasks.
2.2.3) Use relating to competitions (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR)
The data you provided in the context of a W&H competition is only used for the competition process, unless you provide your express consent for this data to be used otherwise.
2.2.4) Subscribing to selected divisions and reports, and to the video channel (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR)
The personal data you provided when subscribing to selected divisions on the W&H homepage or video channel is only used to process these subscriptions, unless you provide your express consent for this data to be used otherwise. We only pass your data on to third parties – for example, W&H Group subsidiaries (W&H Dentalwerk Bürmoos/Austria, subsidiaries) – if it is required to carry out these tasks.
2.2.5) Use relating to the Showpad sales tool (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR)
The following information can be gathered by W&H Dentalwerk Bürmoos GmbH when using the Showpad sales tool:
This data is only gathered with your express consent, which can be withdrawn at any time. If you have received the link to our Showpad site from one of our sales partners, this data is also transmitted to that sales partner and can be viewed by them. If you do not give your consent, then no information can be sent to you via the Showpad sales tool.
2.2.6) Usage in connection with the FreshChat chat feature tool (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) of GDPR)
You are not obligated to provide personal data. The live chat function can still be used even if you do not provide any personal data. The chat history is saved in order to guarantee the best possible support.
We will share collected data for processing with internal departments as well as other associated companies within the W&H group (W&H Dentalwerk Bürmoos/Austria, subsidiaries) or external service providers and processors (e.g. call centres) according to the purposes required (for personal advice).
In accordance to Article 46 of the GDPR, standard contractual clauses have been negotiated as appropriate safeguards with these service providers or the service providers have alternatively, or additionally, been EU-U.S. Privacy Shield certified.
The erasure of personal data will take place no later than one (1) year after the chat took place.
2.3) Use of applicant data (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR)
The data you send us during an application process is gathered and used to help fill to the respective position. Your personal applicant data is only passed on to employees who co-determine who will fill the position. Your personal applicant data will not be passed on to third parties or persons who are not involved in the decision-making process.

2.4 Usage in connection with ioDent®-Intelligent Service
The following personal data and information will be collected and processed by W&H Dentalwerk Bürmoos GmbH for the purposes of logging service and maintenance works to W&H products in the course of using ioDent®-Intelligent Service:
Initials (username login from W&H PARTNERnet)
Works/tests carried out on the W&H product
Duration of work
Information on the relevant W&H products
This data is only gathered with your express consent, which can be withdrawn at any time.
Once withdrawn, the ioDent®-Intelligent Service cannot be used.
2.5) Processing for the purposes of our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR)
Your personal data is only processed on the basis of a legitimate interest of the Controller in certain situations. You will be informed appropriately in the relevant situation. For example, we have a legitimate interest in public and press relations, the presentation of our company’s activities and the furthering of our name recognition. This means that film and image material may be produced at our own selected events and published via social media channels or print media. You have the right to object to this processing at any time.
3) Categories of personal data
We do not collect, process or use special categories of personal data (sensitive data). Special categories of personal data include information related to racial and ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs or trade union membership, as well as the processing of genetic data, biometric data for the unique identification of a natural person, health data or data relating to sex life or sexual orientation.
We only process the personal data which you have provided on our website or which you have submitted to us through other channels, and we only use the data which is required to carry out and execute our services.
