          In fact, proper and professional maintenance plays an essential role in the longevity and value retention of handpieces. The maintenance unit ensures perfect care and performs the correct lubrication cycles crucial for the function and long service life of dental handpieces.

          The Assistina One thoroughly lubricates all gear parts, cleans the spray channels properly and even dries the inner parts with compressed air.

          Lubrication process

          The effective ONE

          With the ground-breaking technology of oil nebulisation, dental transmission instruments are lubricated even faster and more thoroughly than ever before.

          The oil is first atomised in the adaptor to a fine oil mist, which is then blown into the transmission instrument at high pressure. Debris from inside the transmission instrument is removed, and all gear parts are lubricated without putting them in motion.

          With the active suction and HEPA filter, aerosols are removed from the chamber, keeping the working environment clean and safe.

            Handpiece care with the Assistina One is more cost effective than manual lubrication or other systems.

            Laboratory tests on oils showed that the Assistina One Care Set oil MD-302 leads to a reduced friction rate as well as a significantly lower abrasion of the gear parts compared to the most common competitor products.

            The abrasion of the gear parts can, thus, be reduced from 28% up to 77%.

            The Assistina Care Set yields as much as 20 oil spray cans MD-400.

              • Why does the Assistina One have a HEPA filter?
                During the maintenance process in the Assistina One, the rotating parts are lubricated with oil, and the spray channels rinsed with cleaning solution. These liquids are introduced to the handpieces using compressed air, which produces aerosols that may contain potentially contaminated body fluids (e.g. blood and saliva). In order to ensure that the apparatus poses no risk to the user, the patient or third parties, the legislation stipulates that aerosols must be prevented from leaking out of the apparatus. We make sure of this by using active suction and the HEPA filter. This HEPA filter must of course be changed regularly, which is why the lifespan of the filter is matched exactly to the capacity of the two cartridges. The HEPA filter therefore reaches the end of its service life once one set of cartridges has been used. mer
              • Vilka instrumentadaptrar finns till Assistina One?
                Alla adaptrar som passar Assistina 3x2/3x3 fungerar också till Assistina One. Med ett undantag: RM/ISO adapter till Assistina 3x2/3x3 är inte kompatibel med Assistina One.               • Hur byter jag ut ONE Care set?
                De två patronerna och filtret kan enkelt bytas utan verktyg.               • How does the user know when the ONE Care Set needs to be replaced?
                The ONE Care Set must be replaced when the cartridges are empty. The levels can be checked thanks to the device's fill level indicators, located on the right and left sides. mer
              • How often does the ONE Care Set needs to be replaced?
                The consumption volumes for each instrument are 0.07 ml of oil and 0.07 ml of cleaning solution. This gives a maximum capacity of 2857 cycles. The value is around 2800 to 2850 cycles, as initial filling is also required and the fill quantity of the cartridges is subject to certain tolerances that are regulated by the applicable standards. mer
              • Why there is no rotational lubrication option in the Assistina One?
                The oil is atomized in the Assistina One before it enters the instrument. This ensures full coverage of the gear parts, eliminating the need for technically complex and time-consuming rotational lubrication. However, there is no negative impact on the maintenance quality. mer
